Once we sort out all the tech stuff, this tab will be a place for folks (artists or community groups, curators or creative individuals) to propose their bright ideas. On a quarterly basis we’ll soon send out a request proposals for events, exhibitions, public art projects, and interventions, that might take place either in the museum or in Corona (or both). This process can all take place online — though if you need help filling out the forms, our community organizers can make an appointment to help complete them and/or arrange for translation services. Then visitors to the site will get a month to comment on, support, suggest, tweak, sponsor, etc before QMA announces what we think we can try to bring to fruition. We’re excited to make this process more transparent and interactive than it has been in the past. We want to support projects that get folks excited!

Now everyone will know what’s possible to chose from and be able to add project ideas of their own. Hopefully we’ll dream, inspire, and engage each other. We hope this online tool will help us figure out how to pool all our assets, talents, and labor together to make cool, productive, important things happen that make our lives richer, healthier, happier, and hopefully more humane.

Una vez que ordenemos toda la parte técnica, esta sección será el lugar donde la gente, ( artistas, grupos comunitarios, curadores o gente creativa) pueda proponer sus brillantes ideas.

Cuatro veces al año , iniciando muy pronto, haremos un llamado para propuestas, eventos, exposiciones, proyectos de arte público, e intervenciones, que pueden suceder tanto en las instalaciones del museo, como en Corona (o en ambos lugares). Este proceso puede suceder enteramente en línea a través el blog; y en caso de necesitar ayuda para llenar los formularios, nuestros organizadores comunitarios pueden hacer citas para guiar el proceso y traducir de ser necesario.
Los visitantes de este sitio, tendrán un mes para comentar, apoyar, sugerir, modificar, auspiciar, etcétera ; antes de que el Museo de Arte de Queens, manifieste sus criterios sobre lo qué será posible ejecutar.

Estamos muy entusiasmados por hacer este proceso más transparente e interactivo que antes. ¡Queremos apoyar proyectos que emocionen a la gente!
Ahora toda la gente sabrá las opciones sobre las que puede escoger y podrán participar con sus propias ideas. Esperamos poder soñar, inspirar y comprometernos entre nosotros.
Esperamos que esta herramienta en línea nos ayude a juntar todos nuestros recursos, talentos y trabajo, para en conjunto hacer que pasen cosas “cul”, productivas e importantes que enriquezcan nuestras vidas y las hagan más saludables, felices y ojalá, más humanas.
